“Surround yourself with people who believe in your dreams”
Last night, I was treated to the most unexpected and beautiful surprise. I’ve been feeling sick this past week, so when Friday afternoon finally rolled around, I was very happy to spend most of it in bed. I went out to the kitchen to get a glass of water and there on my food cupboard was a poster of A Worldly Addiction (below).
I was absolutely speechless. I couldn’t believe it. There was an Eiffel Tower and my name, representing my blog, something I love so very much and am so proud of. I looked around and saw my housemate with several of these posters and was just so stunned. It took me about five minutes to realise I need to hug the life out of her!!!
Turns out she remembered me talking about how I wanted to update my logo and re-vamp my blog. So she hit up one of her friends (which is ridiculously artistically talented) and asked her to put something together. And it’s so stunning! So Steph, words really cannot express how thoughtful and kind this is and how appreciative I am, but hopefully a blog post dedicated to you will show you how thrilled I am.
And then there’s my other talented housemate, Chantelle, who’s working wonders on a graphic design project and fiddling with various layouts, themes etc. I feel like I’ve got a team of busy bees behind me!
And then of course there’s the beautiful Nicole who designed and drew the original A Worldly Addiction icon, which motivated me to pursue my passions.
So to you three amazingly gifted girls, plus all of the people who follow, read, comment or just flick through my blog, I really am so grateful and happy that I can share my words with you. It means more to me then you’d ever know. So I just wanted to take this moment to share how god damn awesome you all are and thank you for your support and love. Thankyou for believing in my dreams and I hope you know, I completely believe in yours as well!
